Due to an unfortunate confluence of circumstances, some of which are beyond my control, the time has come for me to cease further production of the Bend & Scoop podcast. Episode 74, posted on 10/29/2021, was the final show. This has been a one-person DIY operation from the start, and I am simply unable to continue.
I want to thank each one of you who have listened along the way, especially to those who donated through Patreon. I am also very appreciative of all 76 guests from 50 different podcasts who graciously appeared on the show. Last but not least, I am tremendously grateful for the faith Jerry Elliott and his team at Harder Concepts showed by serving as the sole sponsor of Bend & Scoop for our last 23 episodes.
I hope all of you had as much fun listening to Bend & Scoop as I did putting it together every week. I’m definitely going to miss doing this podcast and all of the interactions I had with those who listened and or participated as guests during our run. I’m proud to have been able to provide exposure to 776 artists by playing 814 of their songs – the vast majority of which will remain available for you to hear on our Bend & Scoop playlist at Spotify.
One last request before I go: please be sure to visit and support your local neighborhood “Mom & Pop” record shop – we promoted 67 of them, but there are so many more out there who need your patronage!
